How do I set a Target Charge for my Ford electric vehicle?

You can limit your electric vehicle's (EV) battery charge level in the Ford app by setting a target charge. This can help preserve the health of your EV's battery.

Limiting an EV Charge Level

  1. Log in to the Ford app.
  2. Go to the Energy screen.
  3. Tap Target charge location.
  4. Press Select location.
  5. Select an address from the list of your previously used AC chargers, and go back to the add target charge screen.
  6. Move the slider icon to set your target charge level. The target charge level is set in percentages.
  7. Tap Save.

Your location and Target Charge are now saved.
